About Us
Finn Church Aid (FCA) Uganda is a rights based international Non-Governmental Organisation dedicated to serving vulnerable communities regardless of their religious beliefs, ethnic background, or political convictions. We started operations in Uganda in 2014 as a country office of Finn Church Aid (FCA), Finland’s largest international aid organisation founded in Finland in 1947.
FCA is a member of ACT Alliance (ACT), an alliance of faith-based development and humanitarian aid entities forming one of the world’s largest aid organisations.
We abide by the International Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Responses (Sphere Standards) in the quality assurance of our work.
We are also a member of the CHS Alliance certified against the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) on quality and accountability.
